OneSystem Shield text alerts
Last updated: October 10, 2026
OneSystem Shield watches a business’s own website. If the business owner (or another admin of that business) asks for it, we send a text message to their mobile phone when the website goes down, when it comes back, and before its security certificate or domain name expires. These are service alerts only — never marketing.
How people sign up
An admin signs in to their OneSystem account, opens Shield → Monitoring & alerts, types their own mobile number in “Text me when it’s down” and ticks “Text me Shield alerts at this number”, then saves. The box is never ticked for them, and nobody else can add their number. Taking the number out or unticking the box stops the texts.
What the texts look like
- “OneSystem Shield: example.com is DOWN (No answer within 15 seconds). We’ll tell you when it’s back. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.”
- “OneSystem Shield: example.com is back up (down for 12 minutes). Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.”
- “OneSystem Shield: SSL certificate for example.com expires in 7 days. Renew it with your host. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.”
How often
Only when something happens to the website — usually a few texts a month or none. Never more than 30 texts a month per business. Message and data rates may apply.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP to any alert to stop all texts at once; reply START to turn them back on. Reply HELP for help, or email support@onesystemcrm.com. You can also remove your number in Shield at any time. Email alerts to the business’s admins carry on either way.
Your phone number
We use the number only to send these alerts. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for their marketing. Our phone provider (Telnyx) delivers the texts. More in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
